Journay Clinch

Journay Clinch serves as the Center for Cognitive Archeology's Executive Assistant and is currently pursuing her Masters in Psychological Science at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Her research focuses on the intersection of evolution, cognitive archeology, and environmentalism. Specifically, she is interested in investigating evolutionary mismatch as a source of modern day mental illness. She works as an outdoor experiential therapist for adolescents, and has over five years of experience working in children's psychiatric facilities and as a Registered Behavior Technician. She earned her Bachelors of Science in  Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023, along with a minor in music, and intends to complete a Doctorate continuing her research into Evolutionary Self-Interpretation as a way to bolster mental health.
