Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Allow four weeks for response.

Applications should include the following:

  • Personal statement (maximum of 2 pages) describing interest in the program (i.e., objectives and goals for enrolling in the program, whether the certificate relates to current or future work plans, previous work or volunteer activities relevant to the certificate, educational background and experience as it relates to this certificate program)
  • Current resume
  • Official transcript(s) of previous education showing 15 semester hours of relevant undergraduate course work completed at an accredited university with a minimum 3.00 GPA

When you reach the “Academic Information” screen, select “Nondegree” for the Student Type field, then select “Cognitive Archaeology (Undergraduate Course of Study Certificate)” for the Primary Nondegree Major field.

  • Official transcript(s) of previous education showing 15 semester hours of relevant graduate course work completed at an accredited university with a minimum 3.00 GPA. Post-degree applicants must have a master's or doctoral degree with a GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • Personal statement (maximum of 2 pages) describing interest in the program (i.e., objectives and goals for enrolling in the program, whether the certificate relates to current or future work plans, previous work or volunteer activities relevant to the certificate, educational background and experience as it relates to this certificate program)
  • Current resume or curriculum vita

When you reach the “Enrollment Information” screen, select “Non-Degree Graduate or Course of Study Certificate” for the What level of degree/certificate are you applying to? field, then select “Non-Degree Graduate Course of Study Certificate – Cognitive Archaeology” for the Primary On Campus Degree/Major field.
